This is a cool blog which has a lot of beautiful images from Iranian books. There are mainly books for children.
FFFFOUND! is a web service that not only allows the users to post and share their favorite images found on the web, but also dynamically recommends each user’s tastes and interests for an inspirational image-bookmarking experience!!
What I like about the site is that the votes for good taste in selecting the best images does work.
I’ve been working in Zürich for the last few month. My wife had bought an Ipad for my birthday and being on my own I thought I test drive it as a sketch pad. I had exhausted visiting all the museums so I thought let’s make a day of it.
The only thing I didn’t expect was becoming a zoo exhibit.
Wherever I went holding the iPad in public made me like the pipe piper. I had a group of kids looking over my shoulder but did the 30 second sketches.
Later I finished one or two of those sketches.
The Swiss parents ( at least the ones who let loose their kids) must have been wondering who is that strange man holding that strange object ( iPad was new). Bottom line if you are doing drawing outside your home expect the unexpected.
